Final Game Started

The semi-final games are completed and the final is underway.   Eric Freeman, Jon Senn, Jeff Meyer, and Andrew Emerick are in contention for the top spots.

Keith Dent and Robb Effinger claimed the 5th and 6th place spots, respectively.   See the Current Standings page for how the semi-finals shook out.

Standings Updated

Eleven of the 24 second round games are completed, and standings are updated on the Current Standings page.

Yours truly current holds the top spot, but all my games are done.  Several people near the top still have 1 or 2 games to complete.   Jon Senn is on an undefeated streak – will he sweep all 6 games?

The top eight spots will play in the semi-finals.

Round 2 Begins

Tables are posted for Round 2.   Same general rules for starting games as before.   If you are listed in the first column of the grid, please start that game.   Please name it something like “BPA 2015 Game 2-1”.  (the BPA 2015 is most important)

Most people should have 1 game to start.   A couple of people should have no games, and Kurt will start all three of his (due to a glitch we discovered last time.  It might be resolved by now, but let’s play it safe).

We had one person drop out, so there will be three 3-player games.

Good luck!

Round 1 Starts

We are ready to go.    Please see the Round 1 Table Matchups tab at the top.

  1.   The First Username listed should start each game.   (This is to avoid some of the duplicate games we ran into last time.)
  2.   Game names should be of the format “BPA 2015 1-1”.   This makes it much easier for me to find the games.
  3.   All games should be the BASIC game.  (No Tribes and Prophecies)
  4.   All games will be 4 player games.
  5.   You MUST put the usernames for the other three players in the Guests fields.   Case matters for usernames.    If you put in an invalid name, it should let you know.  (Then let me know and we’ll figure out what the problem is.)

Everyone should be playing in three games.

I have tried to avoid having people playing the same person twice.   I’ve also tried to split up family members as much as possible.   But, alas, I am not a computer programmer and don’t have endless hours to tweak, so a few people will end up playing the same person twice or with a family member, but it shouldn’t happen more than once.   (in other words, please don’t ask me to switch you, that’s part of the reason why we’re playing a swiss format.)

Thanks, and good luck!
